9.30am :


Meet your guide in your hotel lobby in Alghero to visit this Spanish-Italian town, where the influence of the Catalan power can be still see everywhere and whose history has marked the identity of a cosmopolitan centre. Alghero flourished in the late-Medieval and Renaissance period thanks to the production of coral: you can still see and visit several coral craftmen’s shops and admire their precious jewels. In the city centre, you will visit the Old Town, with the well-preserved ancient towers and town walls, the Cathedral, characterized by an original Catalan-Gothic style, the church of St.Francis (1360, rebuilt in the late 16th century) , the old medieval town square, the Torre del Portal, built at the expense of the Jewish community of Alghero in 1360, and the Tower dell'Esperò Reial (16th century).

End of the tour and lunch at leisure in Alghero city centre.


02.00pm :


Transfer to wine estate Sella e Mosca.Built in 1903, the winery has lost nothing of its old charm.Today it houses the cellar for the ageing of the finest reds, in traditional barrels made from prized Slavonian oak and in small casks of Allier oak.Next to the old cellar is the building named after the Marquis of Villamarina, Don Francesco Pes, who received the title in1774 from the King of Sardinia. You will visit this ancient winery and enjoy a guided tour and a delicious wine tasting with the best wine varieties of the area.



04.00pm :


End of the tour and transfer back to Alghero.
