HOUR BY HOUR ITINERARY

9.00am :


Meet with your guide for a walking tour of Naples that will lead you through its main attractions: the architecture visible in present-day Naples are the Medieval, renaissance and Varoque syles. The historic centre of Naples is listed by Unesco as a World Heritage Site. The main city square or piazza of the city is the Piazza del Plebiscito begun by the Bonapartist king Joachim Murat and finished by the Bourbon king Ferdinand IV . Naples is well known for its historic castles: the ancient Castel Nuovo also known as Maschio Angioino, is one of the city's foremost landmarks and represents a very interesting attraction The Castle was built during the French domination in Naplese and rebuilt by Alfonso, the Spanish king. Its imposing structure has four towers, is surrounded by a moat. Other important attractions are the Teatro S.Carlo, one of the most beautiful Baroque theatres in the whole world. Last but not least, you will visit Spaccanapoli, the most lively and quaintest street in the city, with traditional shops, craftmen's boutique, ancient artistic cribs'shops. By walking down its street, you will access to many attractions in Naples, such as the elegant and luxurious Palaces of Monte di Pietà.

Lunch in the famous pizzeria S.Chiara, where you will taste the authentic Naples' pizza and breath the colorful local atmosphere.


02.00pm :


The tour will go on for a couple of hours more with the interesting visit of Naples major churches, such as the Cappella San Severo with the famous sculpture of Jesus veiled, the Dome, and many other attractions hidden in the secret heart of the city, such as San Domenico square and the Royal Palace, that tells the story of the Reign of the Two Sicillies.
