Transfer from Verona or Venezia to the Valpolicella region, included between Verona and Garda Lake, famous for its wine estates and excellent quality wines.
Arrival in S.Floriano ancient church, one of the most ancient Romanic churches in Italy. Short break to visit the church. Afterwards, transfer to a vinery where you will have have the possibility of experiencing a wine tasting with the most important wine qualities of the region: Valpolicella classico, Valpolicella Superiore, Recioto and Amarone, some of the best Italian wines.
Transfer to a local restaurant and lunch based on typical products of the region: risotto with pumpkins, mushrooms and truffles-based dishes, several meat dishes and many other specialties.
Visit of Villa Santa Sofia, one of the most spectacular masterpieces by Palladio. As a matter of fact, this original villa was built around the model of ancient Roman villas, against the neo-classical tradition of Palladio age. A part of the villa has been transformed in a vinery: you will enjoy a visit and an excellent wine tasting in a wonderful, historical atmosphere.
End of the tour and transfer back to Verona or Venezia.
