Private transfer from Bologna to Parma


09.30am :


Meet with your private guide in Parma city centre, where you will start a walking tour to discover the main highlights of the town, such as its churches and palaces. The Cathedral and the neighbouring Battistero tower, built with pink marble, represent a really impressive complex; but Parma is famous for its theatres as well, since Giuseppe Verdi worked there for several years. The most important are the Teatro Regio on the Via Garibaldi, and the Teatro Farnese on the Piazzale Pilotta, which boasts the first-ever revolving stages to be installed in an Italian theatre. Parma is also full of beautiful palaces and buildings dating back to Renaissance and post-Renaissance times. Take a stroll down Parma city centre and enjoy the special atmosphere that caracterizes this historical city.

For your light lunch, stop in a ham factory to taste the best Italian ham, that is produced in this region: visit the factory and enjoy a ham and cheese-based light lunch. Discover the processes of production and taste the most delicious dishes of the Made in Italy products, living the experience of having the authentic Parma ham for lunch.



02.00pm:


After lunch, you will experience an exclusive visit to Maranello, headquarter of the Ferrari company and of a wonderful Ferrari museum. The museum is structured around 5 main halls and a Ferrari Store along with a cafeteria and the race simulators. You will admire the main racing car of the company, together with the trophies and the prizes won by drivers. After the visit, , you will have the possibility of understanding the secrets of Italian cuisine: you will visit a vinegar factory where the original balsamic vinegar is produced and where you will also have an excellent tasting. You will therefore taste the best, the most authentic vinegar that belongs to the Made in Italy excellent production.

Transfer back to Bologna and end of the tour.
